Plymouth University is inviting graduates from across the South West to refresh their crucial employability skills at a day-long event.
The Graduate Career Confidence Workshop will provide an intensive brush-up of top tips and techniques, from job search strategies and writing CVs to tackling the application process and shining in interviews.
It will also look at career planning and the use of social networks, and has been designed to be informal and interactive.
The workshop on April 19 is open to anyone who has graduated from any university in the last three years, and will be free of charge.
Jo Davies, Career Gateway Manager in Plymouth University's Careers and Employability Service, said: "Although the graduate jobs market is improving it is still competitive in many sectors. Some graduates are searching for that first step towards their chosen career; or wondering what direction they should take. This free workshop is a great opportunity to receive guidance on these issues, to talk to careers professionals, and to meet other graduates in a similar situation."
The day will be structured around group-work, although individual support will be available if needed.
